Reviving Memories Under a Century-Old Campus

From the early morning of January 19, the festive atmosphere filled the entire schoolyard. Golden bundles of straw, traditional banh chung wrapping booths, and calligraphy corners recreated the image of a traditional Vietnamese village right in the heart of the bustling city.

In another corner of the campus, groups of alumni gathered beneath familiar old trees, capturing emotional commemorative photos. Smiles and sparkling eyes turned the celebration into a truly special occasion, where time seemed to rewind to the most beautiful days of youth.

Vibrant Traditional Games

The game area became the highlight of the Sunday event, bringing endless excitement and laughter. A variety of traditional folk games were creatively designed, simple yet engaging for participants of all ages.

• Clay Pot Smashing: Players were blindfolded, spun around three times, and guided by teammates to smash hanging clay pots — a thrilling and entertaining challenge.

• Dart Throwing & Bottle Ring Toss: Each accurate throw or perfectly landed ring sparked cheers from friends and family, heating up the atmosphere even more. These games tested not only skill but also focus and coordination.

• Inflatable Horse Archery: One of the most amusing activities, where “archers” had to maintain balance on inflatable horses while aiming at targets, creating hilarious and heartwarming moments amid loud encouragement.

Over the past 150 years, Le Quy Don High School has become a symbol of educational excellence, where knowledge, character, and national spirit converge.
